Deji Oshilaja has recently signed a two-year deal with Mansfield Town, after being released by Burton Albion. Throughout his career, he has primarily played in League One and is known for his versatility as a midfielder. However, he is also able to play in defense and has experience playing for several different clubs, including Charlton Athletic, AFC Wimbledon, and Gillingham.
Oshilaja is the fourth new addition to Mansfield Town’s roster since their promotion to League One. Manager Nigel Clough has brought in a number of players to strengthen the team’s squad, including Australia midfielder Keanu Baccus, full-back Frazer Blake-Tracy, and striker Lee Gregory. Oshilaja expressed his excitement about joining the team and the clear plan that Clough has for him. He believes that Clough is someone he wants to play for based on how highly he is spoken of.
