Mansfield Town Secures Goalkeeper Carlton Morris with Two-Year Deal

Forward Gale extends contract with Mansfield Town

Mansfield Town forward James Gale has secured his future at the League One club by signing a new two-year deal. The 22-year-old had a year remaining on his previous contract with the Stags and has now committed to the club until 2024. Since joining from non-league side Long Eaton United in 2021, Gale has scored a total of seven goals in 48 appearances.

Gale’s performances have impressed the club and fans alike, leading to him being rewarded with a new contract. In his first season at Mansfield, he made 26 appearances in all competitions and scored three goals. He made an impact off the bench, with 17 of his 20 League Two appearances coming as a substitute. One of his standout moments came in April when he scored in a crucial 4-1 victory against MK Dons, a win that helped Mansfield secure promotion from League Two.

Last season, Gale continued to make an impact for Mansfield, scoring five goals in all competitions and making eight starts in League One. His determination and skill on the field have proven him to be a valuable asset to the team, and he will be eager to make a significant impact in League One this season. With his new contract secure, Gale will be looking to build on his success and continue to contribute to Mansfield Town’s progress in the upcoming seasons.
