Welterweights Niko Price and Randy Brown also emerged victorious in their respective fights, both winning by unanimous decision.
Poirier hinted at a potential retirement from the UFC following his loss to Makhachev. However, he has not yet made a formal announcement about his future plans. Makhachev, on the other hand, is expected to continue defending his lightweight belt and looking for new challenges within the promotion.
