The Algerian Economy and Trade Minister, Mohamed Al-Hwej, inaugurated the “Made in Algeria 3” exhibition yesterday at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds. Over 90 companies from various fields participated in the event, which will run from June 3 to 6, 2024.

Minister Hwej emphasized the importance of cooperation with Libya and creating opportunities for partnerships between local and Algerian private sectors during his inauguration speech. He stated that the Ministry would support efforts to facilitate the opening of branches of Algerian companies and accrediting commercial agencies, which would help boost investment and trade between the two countries.

The exhibition features various sectors such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, machinery, textiles, and electronics. It provides a platform for business owners and entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services to potential buyers and investors. The event is expected to attract thousands of visitors from Libya and other African countries.

In addition to the exhibition, an Economic Salon under the theme “A Platform for Investment and Development” will be held on the sidelines. The salon aims to bring together various economic, industrial, and commercial sectors to promote investment cooperation and development opportunities in both countries.
