Macron urged Europeans to unite under a common identity that is democratic, humanist, and liberal. He called for building a credible defense for the European continent and changing its economic model to maintain global competitiveness. The French leader emphasized the need for military cooperation, industrial investments, border protection, and social and environmental standards while fostering growth.
To strengthen Europe’s position as a global power, Macron proposed initiatives such as creating an European military academy, investing in European military equipment, doubling financial capacity, and becoming a world leader in key sectors by 2030. He also advocated for setting the digital age of majority at 15 years and emphasizing the importance of cultural battles over EU’s identity and soul.
