M6 Group Acquires La Boite Aux Enfants: Expanding Family Fun with Gulli Parcs in France

Gulli Dives Into the Realm of Children’s Playgrounds

M6 Group has announced the acquisition of La Boite Aux Enfants, a French leader in indoor children’s playgrounds. This move is part of M6 Group’s investment strategy aimed at families, particularly around its subsidiary Gulli, which is the leading children’s channel in France.

La Boite Aux Enfants was founded by Gaëtan Le Jariel in 2011 and co-directed by Aurore de Lacombe. The company currently operates 25 parks in France, with 13 of them already under the Gulli Parc license. These parks cater to children aged 1 to 12 years old, offering adventure circuits, sports activities, and birthday entertainment in secure environments that also involve parents.

With approximately 2 million visitors and an expected turnover of 18 million euros in 2024, the network of parks is set to grow further, with new attractions and event programming based on Gulli’s popular heroes. The transaction is expected to be completed in early July 2024.

M6 Group sees this acquisition as a way to expand its offerings to include play and leisure facilities for families across France. This move will provide families with unique opportunities for bonding and relaxation, while also enhancing Gulli’s presence as a leading children’s channel in France.
