Pierre Sage has been officially appointed as Lyon’s new permanent head coach

Lyon has announced Pierre Sage as their new permanent head coach. Since taking over in November, the 45-year-old has led the team to Europa League qualification and the Coupe de France final, earning him a long-term contract that will keep him at the helm until June 2026.

In addition to Sage, three new staff members will be joining the coaching team. Jorge Maciel, a former Valenciennes coach, will be responsible for overseeing training methodology. With Sage now officially appointed as the head coach, Lyon fans can look forward to continued success under his leadership.
