Lulu Hypermarket Group Opens 30th Store in Sultanate of Oman, Creating Job Opportunities and Boosting Retail Sector

The Sultanate of Oman hosts 30 branches of Lulu Group

In the Ansab area of the Sultanate of Oman, Lulu Hypermarket Group has recently opened its 30th store. The company is expanding in the region and this new store was inaugurated by Sheikh Faisal Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with other dignitaries and officials from the Royal Oman Police. During the opening ceremony, Sheikh Faisal emphasized Oman’s commitment to attracting investors and creating a supportive environment for businesses, welcoming projects like Lulu’s expansion.

The new store spans over 150,000 square feet and offers a wide range of products and brands to cater to the needs of citizens and residents in the area. Lulu Group Chairman, Yousef Ali Musliam, expressed gratitude for the support received from the government and local authorities, highlighting the company’s commitment to creating job opportunities for the local workforce through recruitment and training programs.

Lulu Group has plans to open four more hypermarkets in Oman in the next two years. These new stores will provide additional job opportunities for young people and establish a state-of-the-art fruit and vegetable processing facility by 2025 in the upcoming Khazaen Economic City. The expansion of Lulu stores in Oman not only boosts the retail sector but also contributes to economic growth and employment opportunities in the region.
