LSU is currently in the race to land Faizon Brandon, the top quarterback in the 2024 cycle and the No. 1 overall player in America. The Tigers are hoping to make it two consecutive cycles landing the top quarterback in the country by pursuing Brandon, who is originally from Greensboro, North Carolina.
Brandon is ranked as a top-10 prospect and the No. 2 quarterback in the 2024 cycle by On3’s industry rankings. However, both On3 and 247Sports consider him the top quarterback in their own rankings, with the latter also ranking him as the No. 1 overall player in the cycle. After his recent visit to Baton Rouge, where he met with the coaching staff to discuss his development process, Brandon seems to have had a positive experience.
The Tigers are now focused on securing another top quarterback for their program after fellow five-star Dia Bell committed to Texas earlier this week and another four-star quarterback, Brady Hart, committed to Michigan after visiting LSU. Tennessee currently appears to be leading LSU’s pursuit of Brandon but time remains before signing day and LSU will continue their efforts to keep Brandon interested in their program.
