Fayetteville-based engineering services firm PEPM Group is expanding its operations and relocating its office from 300 N. College Ave to a larger building at 1088 E. Millsap Road. The company purchased the 10,000-square-foot building for $2.35 million from Slim Chickens, who moved their corporate offices to a larger building on East Millsap last year.
PEPM Group’s previous office in Fayetteville was leased space, and the company was founded in 2010 by owner Yi Zhang. The company focuses on designing meat and poultry processing plants and working in the oil and gas industry. Their services include engineering, 3D modeling, detailed drawings, and project management. PEPM Group currently has around 20 employees, with plans to add more jobs later this year to the new office on East Millsap.
Cameron Clark from Bennett Commercial Real Estate in Rogers represented the buyer in the transaction, while David Erstine and Hunter Groce from CBRE in Fayetteville represented the seller. Yi Zhang expressed excitement about contributing to the financial growth and strength of Northwest Arkansas as PEPM Group expands and broadens its business portfolio.
