The City of Sonoma and the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to celebrate Earth Day 2024 by recognizing a local business for its environmentally-friendly practices. To be considered, businesses operating within the city can either nominate themselves or be nominated by individuals. In order to do so, simply fill out an online survey detailing the business’s efforts to protect the environment and conserve resources, including any sustainability programs currently in place.
A committee made up of environmental and civic leaders will review all submissions and select a business to be honored this year. The deadline for submissions is noon on Thursday, April 18th, 2024. Once selected, the honoree will be notified immediately and publicly announced on Earth Day, which falls on April 22nd.
