Chamber of Commerce Reveals 2024 Small Business Award Recipients

In 2024, six outstanding local business owners in West Monroe, Louisiana were recognized for their contributions to the community with the Small Business Award from the West Monroe West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce. The winners were selected from a pool of over 50 businesses that were nominated in categories such as Emerging Entrepreneur, Small Business, Female Champion, Community Champion, and the Silver Plus Award.

The winners included Chris Lewis from Coney Island Connection West Monroe for Emerging Entrepreneur, Dr. Keri Cataldo-Rogers for Small Business, Sharon Pleasant for Female Champion, Karen Laban from Spice and Tea Exchange West Monroe for Community Champion, and Mulhearn Funeral Home and Flower Shop for the Silver Plus Award. These businesses were honored by Kelley who expressed pride in their outstanding nominations and emphasized their importance as role models for the community.
