Marshall Economic Development Authority has announced that the former Quist Moving & Storage location at the intersection of East Main Street and Boyer Drive is undergoing significant changes. While further details about the construction project are yet to be available, it has been revealed that the property will soon host a Les Schwab Tire Center.
CenterPointe Development, the company responsible for developing the property, has not yet responded to phone messages regarding the project. Todd Quist from Quist Moving & Storage confirmed that his family’s moving and storage business had sold their East Main Street property in 2023 and relocated to a new spot along Minnesota Highway 23. The business originated in Pipestone in 1969 and has expanded over the years to other locations in Fairmont and Marshall. After more than 30 years at their original location, they decided to sell due to a need for more space. Their new facilities on Highway 23 were just recently occupied this spring.
Les Schwab Tire Centers have been established in Oregon since 1952 and specialize in tires, brakes, wheels, alignment, batteries, shocks, and struts. While there are currently no Les Schwab Tire Centers located in Sioux Falls or Watertown, South Dakota, this new center in Marshall will provide convenient service to local customers looking for reliable tire services.
