League One Bound: Tom James Signs Two-Year Deal with Leyton Orient

James, Orient’s defender, signs new two-year deal

In recent news, defender Tom James has signed a new two-year deal with League One club Leyton Orient. Since joining the team from Hibernian in 2021, James has been a key player for the club, playing a total of 120 games and scoring nine goals.

Despite finishing 11th in League Two last season, just 11 points away from a play-off spot, James remains optimistic about the team’s potential. Looking back on the previous season, he highlighted many positive aspects that can be built upon for the upcoming campaign in League One. James was particularly impressed with the team’s ability to compete with larger clubs and achieve great results.

Before joining Leyton Orient, James began his career at Cardiff City before moving on to Yeovil Town in 2017. He later joined Hibernian in 2019 before going on loan spells at Wigan Athletic and Salford City. Eventually settling at Leyton Orient, James is now preparing for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead as the League One fixtures for the upcoming 2024-25 season are set to be announced soon.
