Lazio has shown interest in acquiring Manchester United’s talented striker, Mason Greenwood, this summer. The Serie A giants are willing to offer goalkeeper Christos Mandas as part of the deal to meet United’s asking price. Negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing, with Lazio proposing a cash bid of €18m and a separate deal that includes the transfer of Mandas to Manchester United if that is their preference. Manchester City had previously attempted to sign Mandas with a loan plus option to buy bid, but Lazio is now willing to send the goalkeeper to Manchester United in their pursuit of Greenwood. Claudio Lotito, president of Lazio, is personally involved in the negotiations and is determined to secure Greenwood’s services for his team this summer.
