Lazio Torn Between Two Talented Prospects: The Battle for Mason Greenwood and Lazar Samardzic

Lazio Faces Decision Between Manchester United Winger and Udinese Star

Lazio faces a tough decision this summer as they weigh their options for signing Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood or Udinese’s Lazar Samardzic. The club sees both young players as potential additions to their squad, with Greenwood potentially replacing Felipe Anderson on the wings and Samardzic seen as a possible successor to Luis Alberto.

Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà believes that Lazio will prioritize signing Samardzic over Greenwood. While the club may be able to secure the Serbian midfielder for around €20 million, they will face competition from Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce. Samardzic is said to prefer staying in Italy, but Lazio will need to speed up their negotiations with Udinese before missing out on the opportunity.

Aside from their pursuit of Samardzic, Lazio is also working on finalizing deals for other players. They must complete a deal for Hellas Verona’s Tijjani Noslin by June 30th and resume talks for Juan Cabal. They are also close to signing Hatayspor’s Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, as negotiations with the Turkish club are nearing completion.

Lazio will need to act swiftly if they want to secure all of their targets before the transfer window closes. With so much competition in the market, they can’t afford to miss out on any opportunities that could strengthen their squad for next season.
