Lazio Ready to Take on Juventus for Udinese Midfielder Lazar Samardzic.

Lazio revives interest in exciting target from Juventus

Lazio has recently rekindled their interest in Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic and are reportedly in talks with the player, as they consider competing with Juventus for his signature. The Biancocelesti sporting director Angelo Fabiani has identified Samardzic as one of the key targets for Marco Baroni’s new squad ahead of the summer transfer window. In addition to Samardzic, Lazio is also pursuing deals for Fisayo Dele-Bashiru from Hatayspor and Tijjani Noslin from Hellas Verona.

Apart from these players, Lazio is also eyeing other promising talents such as Archie Brown from Gent, Viktor Djukanovic from Hammarby, and Calvin Stengs from Feyenoord. Although there were reports of interest in Manchester United winger Mason Greenwood, a deal for the controversial young player does not seem realistic at this time. If Samardzic were to leave Udinese, he could potentially command a fee of around €15-16 million plus add-ons.

Lazio has been keeping an eye on Samardzic for the past two transfer windows and are now considering making a move for the midfielder. While Juventus is also interested in Samardzic, he is not considered a priority for them at present. Claudio Lotito, owner of Lazio, has been hesitant to invest heavily in a single player, so the fee for Samardzic may be a deciding factor in whether or not the deal goes through.
