Lake Regional Health System Conducts Community Health Needs Assessment to Shape Future of Healthcare in Camden, Laclede, Miller, and Morgan Counties.

The health system at Lake of the Ozarks, known as Lake Regional, is currently conducting a community health needs assessment for the nearby counties of Camden, Laclede, Miller, and Morgan. This assessment allows residents to voice their thoughts and concerns regarding health needs and issues within their communities. By participating in the survey, individuals can play a part in shaping the future of healthcare in their communities.

As a nonprofit hospital, Lake Regional is required to conduct a comprehensive community health needs assessment every three years under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. This ongoing assessment process allows Lake Regional to stay informed about the evolving health needs of the community and to make informed decisions about how to best address those needs. Previous surveys conducted by Lake Regional can be found on the health system’s website for reference.

Residents of Camden, Laclede, Miller, and Morgan counties are encouraged to participate in the survey. The survey can be accessed online or picked up by calling 573-348-8222. By taking a few minutes to complete the survey, individuals can help Lake Regional identify the specific health needs of their communities so that they can collaborate with public health officials and community leaders to address these needs effectively.

Lake Regional’s CEO Kevin McRoberts expressed appreciation for the public’s willingness to participate in the survey: “We value your input and are grateful for your participation in this important process.” With this information collected from residents within these counties, Lake Regional will be able to better understand how they can improve healthcare services in their area which will have an overall positive impact on the wellbeing of residents.
