Kazakh-Chinese Cooperation on 5G, Aerospace Industry and E-Commerce: Boosting Collaboration Through Joint Projects and Talent Training

Kazakhstan and China initiate collaboration on cutting-edge technology

The Kazakh-Chinese Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee recently held its inaugural meeting at the Kazakh Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry. Led by First Vice Minister Kanysh Tuleushin and Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of China Chen Jiachang, the meeting focused on discussions pertaining to cooperation between the two countries in the areas of 5G network development, aerospace industry advancements, and e-commerce.

During the meeting, the subcommittee members agreed to enhance collaboration in the implementation of joint scientific and innovative projects. These projects aim to explore space research, utilize microsatellites, monitor agriculture and natural disasters through remote sensing, digitalize the agricultural sector, and improve seismic monitoring capabilities. Additionally, the subcommittee agreed on initiatives to foster the training of young talent in innovation through activities such as short-term internships and joint scientific projects.

The co-chairs of the subcommittee expressed their commitment to sharing information on the latest developments in scientific and technological innovations in both China and Kazakhstan.
