Prince William has updated the public on Kate Middleton and their three children’s health. Since Kate’s cancer diagnosis was announced in March, there has been a call for privacy from the princess of Wales, which has largely been respected. Kensington Palace has not shared any updates on Kate’s health, but William mentioned that the family was doing well during his visit to northeast England.
During his visit, William met with two people draped in the Union Jack, as seen in a video shared on social media. When asked about Kate and the children, William replied that they were all doing well. This was William’s third day of official engagements since Kate’s diagnosis was made public. Kate has taken a step back from her public duties to focus on treatment but recently shared a photo on Instagram to celebrate Prince Louis’s sixth birthday.
Earlier this week, the couple celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary by sharing a previously unreleased portrait from their wedding day in 2011. It was also mentioned that King Charles III, William’s father, has also been diagnosed with cancer this year and is undergoing treatment. The monarch recently returned to public-facing duties and visited a cancer center, where he spoke with patients about his diagnosis.
