Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York on Monday night for driving while intoxicated. The 10-time Grammy winner had left the American Hotel in Sag Harbor before his arrest. He was released without bail on Tuesday and has a court date set for July 26. In addition to the DWI charges, he was also cited for running a stop sign and failing to keep in his lane.
Timberlake’s successful music career has earned him numerous awards, including four Emmys and an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song. He is currently planning a European leg of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which is in support of his sixth studio album “Everything I Thought It Was.” The tour also includes two concerts in Chicago this weekend and two shows in New York City next week.
