‘JRMC University to Host ‘Health & Wealth’ Event on June 11 – Jamestown Sun’

The Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) is set to host its monthly “JRMC U: Health & Wealth” educational seminar on Tuesday, June 11th at Two Rivers Activity Center in Jamestown. Special guest Doug Olson, a senior vice president and regional manager at Thompson & Associates, will be providing insights on financial wellness and the connection between health and wealth.

Tonya Perkins, director of the JRMC Foundation, emphasized the importance of making smart decisions in both health and financial areas. This seminar aims to help community members learn practical strategies for managing health costs and planning for a financially secure future. With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Olson will cover topics such as reducing healthcare expenses through insurance options, managing high deductible health plans, estate planning, maximizing employer benefits, and Medicare and Social Security claiming strategies.

JRMC is dedicated to helping area residents achieve their best health and well-being by offering comprehensive medical services, preventive care programs, rehabilitation and community health initiatives.
