For three consecutive evenings, thousands of Jordanians have participated in anti-Israeli demonstrations near the Israeli Embassy, demanding that the Jordanian government take practical steps to halt Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.

The protesters are calling for the cancellation of all agreements with Israel, including the peace treaty (Wadi Arba agreement) and the gas agreement. Additionally, they are requesting a ban on land delivery of goods from Persian Gulf countries through Jordan and a prohibition on exporting vegetables. The protests reflect growing tensions and calls for action against Israeli policies in the region.

On March 26, an anti-Israeli demonstration also occurred in Aqaba, where some participants carried portraits of Yahya Sinouar and Hamas flags. The situation remains volatile as both protesters and authorities navigate the complex political landscape.

The protests have been ongoing since March 24th when thousands gathered near the embassy demanding an end to Israel’s aggression towards Palestinians. The peaceful protests quickly turned violent as riot police used batons to disperse them.

The protesters have been calling for an end to all agreements with Israel, including a peace treaty signed in 1994 between Jordan and Israel. They also want a ban on land delivery of goods from Persian Gulf countries through Jordan and prohibition on exporting vegetables.

The ongoing protests are seen as a reflection of growing tensions in the region and call for immediate action against Israeli policies.

Despite calls from authorities for peaceful protests, some participants carried portraits of Yahya Sinouar, leader of Hamas and waved Hamas flags during their protest in Aqaba.

As tensions continue to rise between Israelis and Palestinians, more protests are expected to occur in different parts of Jordan. The situation remains volatile as both sides navigate this complex political landscape.
