Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi has made it clear that his country will not send forces to the Gaza Strip in place of Israeli occupation forces. During a joint press conference with Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Yerapetritis, Al-Safadi emphasized that Jordan will not take on the responsibility of cleaning up after Netanyahu and will not send forces to Gaza as a replacement for the Israeli forces.

Al-Safadi called on all parties involved to work towards achieving a fair agreement that includes a permanent ceasefire and the release of all Israeli and Palestinian prisoners and detainees. This, he believes, is the first step towards addressing the humanitarian crisis caused by the recent aggression in Gaza. He expressed his full support for efforts made by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States to negotiate a ceasefire agreement.

The Jordanian Foreign Minister stressed the importance of a comprehensive plan that not only stops the current conflict but also leads to a just and lasting peace based on a two-state solution. He underlined that any approach that deals with Gaza separately from the rest of the occupied Palestinian territories, including the West Bank and East Jerusalem, is unacceptable.
