Jordan Asher Huffman Joins the Fight Against Mental Health Stigma with New Anthem at One805 Fundraiser

Jordan Asher Huffman, recording artist, to donate anthem in support of mental health services for first responders in Santa Barbara County

Nashville-based recording artist, Jordan Asher Huffman, is taking a proactive approach to supporting mental health services for first responders in Santa Barbara County. Huffman, who has a personal connection to mental health issues due to his father’s struggles and eventual suicide in 2020, is donating an anthem to help raise awareness and support for mental health services for first responders in the county.

As the Mental Wellness Ambassador for One805, Huffman aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health in the community. One805, an organization that supports first responders through various means including mental health and wellness programs, will benefit from the donation of Huffman’s song, titled Out Loud. The song aims to address the stigma of mental health and encourage people to openly express their emotions and feelings.

Huffman will debut the anthem at One805’s upcoming Sunstone fundraiser event on May 19th in the Santa Ynez Valley. According to Tony Pighetti, director of One805’s first responder wellness program, a mentally stable first responder is better equipped to make sound decisions and provide compassionate care. By supporting mental health services and raising awareness, One805 and Jordan Asher Huffman hope to create a healthier and more resilient community.
