Apple is reportedly preparing for the eventual replacement of CEO Tim Cook, with John Ternus identified as the frontrunner for the position. Ternus, who has been with the company since 2011 and succeeded Steve Jobs, is seen as a strong candidate due to his recent prominence in Apple events and extensive experience in design and engineering. Craig Federighi, who oversees iOS and macOS, and Phil Schiller, head of the App Store, are also key figures within Apple’s leadership. While Federighi is considered a software expert with a deep understanding of technology’s role in the modern world, Schiller is known for his marketing expertise and industry inspiration. With Schiller’s impending retirement, Ternus appears to be the best positioned candidate to succeed as Apple’s CEO.
