Jets Coach Robert Saleh Keeps a Close Eye on Breece Hall and Haason Reddick’s Injury Recovery for 2023 Football Season

Breece Hall misses practice due to unspecified lower-body injury

On Tuesday, during a press conference, Jets head coach Robert Saleh discussed the absence of Haason Reddick from OTAs and running back Breece Hall’s limited participation in recent practices. Saleh clarified that Hall is dealing with some lower-body issues but emphasized that it is nothing long-term and the team is being cautious with his activity level to ensure he is fully ready by September. Last season, Hall demonstrated his speed and talent by amassing 1,585 yards from scrimmage, including a league-best 83-yard run.

Saleh praised Hall’s ability to make plays in open space, calling him a quarterback’s best friend who can turn a short pass into a big gain. Despite Aaron Rodgers’ absence last season due to injury, the Jets are optimistic about having a healthy and complete offensive unit this year. They recognize the potential of having all hands on deck and are looking for ways to get the ball in Hall’s hands to maximize his impact on the field.

Reddick was absent from OTAs due to personal reasons but is expected to be back soon. The team hopes that he will be able to contribute more this season after missing time last year due to an injury. Saleh also noted that they are keeping an eye on other players who have been dealing with injuries recently and hope they will be able to return soon as well.
