JetBlue’s Inaugural Flight to Edinburgh: A Luxurious Business Class Experience with the Mint Studio

JetBlue’s Private ‘Apartment’ Suite Takes Flight to Scotland

I was lucky enough to be on JetBlue’s inaugural flight from New York City to Edinburgh, where I experienced the six-hour journey in their business class “apartment,” known as the “Mint Studio.” The studio was equipped with a bench, a cabinet with a mirror, and the largest TV screen I had ever seen on an airline.

Being assigned to the “Mint Studio” for this flight was a rare occurrence and my surprise was evident when I realized how much added comfort and convenience it provided. Despite its luxurious features, such as the spaciousness of the option and its hefty price tag starting at around $4,000, I knew that it may not be something that everyone could afford.

As someone who is always looking for ways to save money on travel, I have to admit that splurging on this type of luxury experience would not be something that I would normally justify. While it made my transatlantic flight comfortable and enjoyable, there are many other options available that don’t require breaking the bank.
