Jefferson City Baseball Defeats Blair Oaks on Senior Night

The Jefferson City Jays emerged victorious with a 3-2 win over Blair Oaks High School on Monday night. The Falcons took the lead in the bottom of the third inning when freshman Vander Halford scored junior Evan McCullough. However, the Jays fought back in the top of the fourth inning with three runs of their own.

Junior Adam Scheperle, sophomore Ryan Meyer, and senior Ryan Tadsen all contributed to the Jays’ offensive surge. After that, neither team was able to score any more runs.

Blair Oaks is set to play against Hallsville back at home on Tuesday, while Jefferson City will face Father Tolton at home on the same day. The game showcased competitive play from both teams and ultimately resulted in a close victory for the Jefferson City Jays.
