Jamie Foxx reveals more about health scare that kept him out of action for 20 days

On March 3, 2024, Jamie Foxx attended the AAFCA Special Achievement Awards luncheon in Los Angeles. The Oscar-winning actor had previously been hospitalized in April 2023 while filming the Netflix film “Back in Action” in Atlanta.

Foxx recently shared more details about what happened during his hospitalization in a video posted to TikTok. In the video, he explained that he had a “bad headache” on April 11, 2023 and doesn’t remember anything after asking for an Advil. He was hospitalized for 20 days and was told he received a cortisone shot by a doctor. Foxx mentioned that his sister and daughter took him to the doctor and something was “going on up there” in his head.

After the incident, Foxx has been guarded about his private life and strayed away from the limelight. He had previously mentioned that he wanted to maintain a positive image for the public, avoiding any images of him in a vulnerable state. However, in July 2023, he posted a video on Instagram talking more about his experience and expressing his gratitude for the support from fans and well-wishers. In August 2023, he further updated his followers saying that he was starting to feel like himself again after a long and unexpected dark journey.

“Back in Action” is currently in post-production according to IMDB, and fans are eagerly waiting to see Foxx back on the screen after his health scare. Despite everything that happened, it seems that Foxx is determined to continue with his career as one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
