On Tuesday night at the Jackson Center in Jamestown, sports enthusiasts gathered to honor Chautauqua County’s biggest sports fan, Scotty James. The event was organized by local sports historian Greg Peterson, who led a program titled “Greg Peterson Unplugged Part 2.”

During the program, Peterson shared baseball stories and presented video interviews with former Buffalo Bisons and Jamestown Jammers general manager Mike Billoni, Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame president Randy Anderson, and Jamestown Tarp Skunks’ general manager and director of business sales, Christian Dolce. These individuals highlighted the rich history and contributions of baseball in the community.

The audience had the opportunity to interact with Scotty James and receive signed baseball cards as mementos of the event. The evening featured engaging discussions and anecdotes about baseball, celebrating sports nostalgia and camaraderie. Overall, it was a memorable night for all in attendance.
