Jadon Sancho: The Dynamic Midfielder who Saved Dortmund in Their Champions League Defeat against Real Madrid

‘Dortmund Manager Terzic Praises Sancho’s Outstanding Performance on Wembley Return’

Jadon Sancho has been praised by Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic after his impressive performance in the team’s 2-0 Champions League loss to Real Madrid. Sancho, who returned to Dortmund on loan in January, played a key role in the match at Wembley, where Dortmund came close to taking the lead before conceding two goals in the second half.

Terzic commended Sancho’s brilliant form over the past six months and noted that while it took some time for him to regain his fitness, his quality and skills have greatly benefited the team. The coach highlighted how Sancho not only improved his own game but also elevated the performances of those around him.

Sancho made significant contributions with 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 games during his first four years at Dortmund. After a challenging stint at Manchester United, where he struggled to find consistency, Sancho returned to Dortmund on loan and has since regained his form and reputation. Although Sancho’s loan spell officially ended after the Champions League final, Terzic avoided speculation about where he might play next season, emphasizing the present moment and the joy Sancho brings to the team. The coach expressed his happiness at working with Sancho and his optimism for the winger’s future, suggesting that it could include another Champions League final appearance.
