Jack Brett Anderson takes on leading role in mental health drama ‘The Insect Life’

Jack Brett Anderson has been cast as the male lead in the upcoming feature film “The Insect Life.” This marks the debut feature for writer/director James Hughes and his production company Sunset Aperture.

In a statement, Anderson described how the script for “The Insect Life” completely captivated him with its visual beauty and the complex characters of Levi and Céleste. He sees the characters as representing the brightness and darkness of a single soul. The screenplay for the film has been in development for a decade, and Richard Bell will serve as the director of photography with Paul Craig as executive producer.

Hughes expressed his passion for telling a visual story about this theme and how it has driven the project forward. The story of “The Insect Life” will explore the importance of support systems and how they can impact one’s survival when facing personal crises.
