Israeli Air Force Strikes Lebanon House, Kills Hezbollah Paramedic in Deadly Attack

Hezbollah Chief of Staff targeted in Lebanese home attack

On June 14, the Israeli Air Force conducted an attack on a house in the Janata village, located east of Tyre in southern Lebanon. According to Al-Manar, one person was killed and at least 14 others, including children, were wounded as a result of the IDF strike. Hezbollah has confirmed that the attack killed a woman named paramedic Sali Skaiki. The target of the attack was reportedly rented by Hezbollah. Saudi television channel Al-Arabiya indicated that the target was a “Hezbollah general in command of the southern district.” Preliminary data suggests that Hisham Safi al-Din, Hezbollah Chief of Staff, was not present in the apartment during the attack and managed to survive, although some Arab media outlets suggest that he may have been eliminated. The missile that carried out the attack is believed to have been launched from the sea.
