Israel Leads the Way in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Technology with International Summit

The International Conference on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles commences in Jerusalem on June 30

Israel, a leader in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), is hosting the first international UAV summit. The conference, titled “World’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Conference,” will be held from June 30 to July 2 at the Nation Buildings in Jerusalem. The event is targeted towards organizations, agencies, associations, governments, the business sector, and academics.

Israel has been at the forefront of UAV technology since its inception, with initial uses dating back to the Yom Kippur War. Since then, its expertise in this area has expanded beyond just security applications to encompass various fields. Major General (Res.) Eitan Ben Eliyahu, chairman of the conference, highlights Israel’s knowledge and experience in this field.

The objective of this conference is to bring together professionals from research, engineering, and industry sectors to share their visions for the future of UAV technology and explore its applications across different fields. Ofer Gil, CEO of Paragon Productions – the company organizing the event – emphasizes the importance of collaboration and exchange of ideas in driving advancements in UAV technology.

The UAV Summit offers an excellent platform for networking and knowledge sharing among experts from around the world. It features expert lectures by renowned researchers and industry leaders along with presentations showcasing cutting-edge research on UAV systems and technologies. Additionally, international meetings will be held during the event to foster cooperation between research institutes, industries, and regulatory bodies worldwide.

Participants at this unique summit have ample opportunities to delve into various aspects of UAV technology such as autonomous flight control systems or data processing techniques used for mission planning or object recognition. They can also explore innovative applications that are emerging in fields like agriculture or disaster management using drones or other types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
