Isaiah Simmons Returning to Giants for 2024 Season: What This Means for the Team

The Giants Bring Back Isaiah Simmons and Sign Dante Miller

The Giants have announced that Isaiah Simmons will be returning to the team for the 2024 season. This news comes after a successful physical examination and is pending final approval. Simmons was acquired last season from the Cardinals in a trade for a seventh-round draft pick. He played in every game and even started in four of them, making an impressive impact with 50 tackles, a sack, an interception that he returned for a touchdown, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. With his versatility as a player, having also played as a defensive back in the past, it will be exciting to see how new defensive coordinator Shane Bowen plans to utilize him in the upcoming season.

In addition to Simmons’ return, the Giants have also signed running back Dante Miller. Miller’s last known play was with South Carolina in 2022, and now he will be joining the Giants for the upcoming season. Miller’s signing adds depth to the Giants’ running back position and could provide some much-needed competition for current starters Saquon Barkley and Daniel Jones. As the team prepares for the 2024 season, these signings are just another step towards building a strong roster and contending for championships.
