Iran’s Threatening Warnings: The Escalation of the Gaza Conflict and the Possibility of a ‘War of Extermination’ against Israel

Iran renews threat against Israel: Planning to strike once more

During a meeting with families of Hamas terrorists killed in Gaza, the commander of Iran’s IRGC Air Force made threatening remarks, warning that the next attack on Israel could involve an unknown number of missiles. Photos from the meeting showed him embracing children and posing under displays of missiles, rockets, and Palestinian flags. The commander referenced Iran’s past actions against the United States, including the shooting down of an American aircraft and the launching of 13 missiles at the Ain al-Assad base in Iraq after the assassination of Qasem Soleimani. These actions were aimed at bolstering the credibility and seriousness of his statements.

The Iranian delegation to the United Nations also warned that Israel’s conflict with Hezbollah could escalate into a “war of extermination.” They emphasized that all options were on the table, including the full involvement of all resistance fronts in the region. The delegation highlighted Iran’s preparedness for any potential conflict, stating that Iran viewed Israel’s talk of an attack on Lebanon as psychological warfare. However, if Israel launched a large-scale military operation, it could trigger a war of extermination. The delegation underscored the importance of all resistance fronts in the region being ready to respond to any aggression.
