In the aftermath of Iran’s successful completion of its operation against Israel, tensions between the two countries remain high. Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, has declared that the strikes achieved all their goals and that there is no intention to continue. He warned Israel against retaliating, stating that Tehran’s response would be far greater than any military action taken.
On the other hand, Hossein Salami, commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps echoed Bagheri’s sentiments and stated that the operation was carried out successfully and exceeded expectations. He also advised Israel to learn a lesson from this conflict.
However, according to Israeli army sources, they along with their allies intercepted the vast majority of drones and missiles launched by Iran. The Israeli army spokesman declared that Iran’s attack had been thwarted and reported only minor damage to one military facility.
The situation remains tense as both sides continue to threaten continued retaliation on each other. Negotiations are crucial in preventing further escalation of violence in this ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel.
