The tragic death of former President Ebrahim Raisi in a plane crash on May 19 has led to the registration of presidential candidates in Iran. As of now, three individuals have submitted their applications to run for office.

The registration of candidates will take place from May 30 to June 3, with the verification of candidates’ qualifications occurring from June 4 to 10. The final list of candidates will be officially announced on June 11th.
