Iran’s New Foreign Minister Tours Lebanon to Discuss Anti-Israeli Strategy with Regional Allies”.

Ali Bagheri-Kani, the new Acting Foreign Minister of Iran, has made Lebanon his first foreign destination after taking office. Following his visit to Beirut, he will travel to Damascus to discuss ways to collectively address Israeli threats with officials from Lebanon, Syria and representatives of the resistance.

During a meeting with Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bu Habib, Bagheri-Kani emphasized the importance of developing a unified strategy among regional countries, primarily Muslim nations, to counter Israeli aggression and protect the Palestinian population, particularly in Rafah. Hezbollah, considered Iran’s strongest ally in the region and operates in Lebanon, is engaged in conflict with Israel while avoiding an escalation into full-scale war. Bagheri-Kani commended Hezbollah as an anchor of stability and peace in the region.

Lebanese officials have expressed their support for Iran’s efforts to counter Israeli aggression and protect the Palestinian population. They have also emphasized the need for dialogue and diplomacy in resolving conflicts in the region. The discussions between Bagheri-Kani and Lebanese officials are expected to focus on ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Iran and Lebanon and promote regional security and stability.
