Town extends new deal offer to Hladky as Jackson and Ball exit

Ipswich Town has recently extended a new contract offer to goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky, who made an impressive 46 appearances for the team in the Championship last season. This news comes as the club bids farewell to departing players Kayden Jackson and Dominic Ball.

Jackson, who played for six seasons at Portman Road, made an impressive 199 appearances and scored 28 goals. Ball, on the other hand, made 35 appearances across two seasons. Manager Kieran McKenna expressed his gratitude to both players for their vital contributions, on and off the field, in developing the club’s culture and setting standards that have been essential to its progress.

As he considers his future with Ipswich, Hladky is likely pleased to hear about the new contract offer. The former Czech Republic youth international has been a key player for Ipswich since joining from Salford City in 2021. He was part of the team that achieved consecutive promotions in 2022-23 and 2023-24.
