The Iowa High School Sports Awards, presented by SCHEELS, have announced the nominees for the Boys and Girls Bowlers of the Year. The live show will take place on June 10 at Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines, as part of a larger program that recognizes student-athletes over nine months. The event honors athletes, coaches, and teams from all across the state who compete in sanctioned Iowa high school sports.
At the live show, the nominees for Boys Bowler of the Year will be celebrated, along with the player of the year for each of the other 20 recognized sports. Among other awards presented will be honors for on- and off-the-field achievements, including a Courage Award, Coaches of the Year, Teams of the Year, and the Boys and Girls Athlete of the Year. Nominated athletes who RSVP will receive complimentary tickets to the event, thanks to sponsors. Interested athletes can register on the event’s website while guests can purchase tickets online.
