Discover the thrill of spending time with MODS’ resident North American river otters, Peach and Toosie! The signature Breakfast with Our Otters event on April 13th at 9 a.m. is your chance to interact with these adorable and playful otters, along with the Life Sciences team. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, attend an otter talk, participate in a training session, engage in enrichment activities, and witness a special appearance by Joey, the Museum’s otter mascot. Children will also have the opportunity to explore the wonders of the ocean in MODS’ latest traveling exhibit, Voyage to the Deep – Underwater Adventures, running through May 19th. Join Captain Nemo on an interactive underwater exploration experience aboard the Nautilus submarine.
MODS is South Florida’s acclaimed attraction that offers 150,000 square feet of dynamic science exhibits, an outdoor science park, a live animal collection featuring river otters and other creatures, science shows and learning labs for all ages to enjoy. Visit our café for refreshments or browse our store for unique souvenirs. At the heart of it all is the grand atrium featuring our iconic Great Gravity Clock-the largest clock in Florida! This kinetic energy sculpture has been a staple of our museum since 1993 and continues to captivate visitors today.
The Breakfast with Our Otters program includes museum admission, an IMAX documentary screening, and even an original otter painting-making it a truly unique and memorable experience for you and your loved ones! Cameras are welcome to capture all the fun moments during this exciting event. Due to space limitations we require pre-registration at mods.org/otterbreakfast.
