Inter Eyeing Ndoye as Dumfries Alternative in the Summer Transfer Window”.

Inter reaches out to Bologna and Switzerland talent Dan Ndoye

The Serie A giants, Inter, are currently seeking a potential transfer for Bologna player Dan Ndoye during this summer transfer window. Reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport by Davide Stoppini suggest that Inter’s negotiations with Denzel Dumfries for a contract renewal have hit a roadblock, prompting them to search for his replacement.

As they aim to finalize a deal for Ndoye soon, the reigning Scudetto champions are waiting on an official decision from Dumfries regarding his future. Known for his impressive performances with Bologna and the Swiss national team, Ndoye typically plays in a forward role. However, Inter sees potential in his ability to also cover the right winger position.

The club’s deputy Sporting Director, Dario Baccin, reportedly watched Ndoye in action during Switzerland’s match against Scotland in EURO 2024 as they prepare to make an offer. In addition to Ndoye, Inter is also considering Emil Holm from Spezia, Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United, and Amar Dedic from Salzburg as potential alternatives for Dumfries. With a strategic approach to their transfer plans, Inter is focused on strengthening their squad for the upcoming season.
