World Insurance Associates has announced the appointment of Thaddeus Woosley as their new Executive Vice President and Head of National Practice Groups. Woosley brings over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles within the insurance and financial services industry to the position. He was previously SVP of broker management and sales operations at QBE North America, where he held various positions at Aon plc.
In another significant move, John Berger has been appointed to the board of directors at Coaction Specialty Insurance Group in Morristown, New Jersey. Berger, a former CEO of Ascot Re and founding chairman and CEO of Third Point Reinsurance Ltd, brings a wealth of experience in the reinsurance industry to his new role. He replaces Stan Galanski as Chairman, who has been in the position since August 2021.
Berger’s impressive career includes leadership roles at Alterra Capital Holdings Limited, Chubb Re, Inc., and F&G Re. His vast knowledge and expertise will no doubt contribute to Coaction’s continued growth and success in the specialty insurance market.
