Parents and high school student judges were impressed by the students’ efforts and praised their creativity and dedication to the scientific process. One grade stayed in the gym to present their projects to the judges, while the other two grades participated in interactive activities led by the Locust Valley High School robotics teams.

During these activities, students learned about safe chemical reactions and how to create mechanized inventions, further expanding their scientific knowledge and skills. Each group of students impressed with their dedication to the scientific process and the complexity of their projects. The fair provided an opportunity for the young scientists to showcase their hard work and creativity, and to engage with their peers and mentors in a supportive and educational environment.
