Infobip, a leading IT company with a global infrastructure and commercial relationships with over 800 operators, has recently opened a new office in Osijek. With an initial staff of 27 employees, the management is optimistic about business expansion in this region.

Izabel Jelenić, co-founder and technical director of Infobip, stated that the sixth engineering office in Croatia would help the company tap into the region’s strong pool of engineering talent to work on global communication projects. The company has been operating since 2006 and has numerous offices worldwide, focusing on enabling businesses to communicate with users.

The CEO of Infobip mentioned that while the company may not be highly visible in the foreground, they have a global infrastructure and commercial relationships with over 800 operators. Clients such as Facebook and Google rely on Infobip’s infrastructure for communicating with end users. In 2022, the company reported a total revenue of 1.55 billion euros.

Dražen Radanović, head of the Osijek office, expressed plans for further expansion with the new space and highlighted the region’s technically strong young talent. He stated that Infobip aims to collaborate with the local community and universities to tap into the region’s young engineering talent for future office expansion.

Local councilor Jasenka Crnković welcomed Infobip’s presence in Osijek, emphasizing the creation of new job opportunities. She invited the company to participate in city-enterprise scholarship projects to attract more talented individuals to join their team.
