Indianapolis Set to Host WWE WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble for the First Time in Years

WWE Enters Multi-Year, Multi-Event Agreement with Indiana Sports Corp

Indianapolis has been announced as the host city for WWE WrestleMania, WWE SummerSlam, and WWE Royal Rumble for the first time in several years. The announcement was made after WWE Monday Night Raw was held in Gainbridge Fieldhouse, with former Indianapolis Colts star Pat McAfee on the commentary team.

The partnership between Indiana Sports Corp and WWE was confirmed by a news release from Indiana Sports Corp on Monday morning, following initial reports of a multi-year deal released on June 20 by WrestleVotes. A press conference is scheduled at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Ascension St. Vincent Entry Pavilion for 11 a.m. to discuss the details of the partnership.

Chris Legentil, WWE EVP, Talent Relations & Head of Communications, praised Indianapolis as a fantastic city for major events and announced that Lucas Oil Stadium will host the Royal Rumble in 2025, as well as future SummerSlam and WrestleMania events. Gainbridge Fieldhouse will host Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown tapings, and other select Premium Live Events. SummerSlam and WrestleMania will each be two-night events when hosted in Indianapolis, with additional events planned for Fort Wayne and Evansville.

The last Premium Live Event in Indianapolis was WWE Fastlane in October 2023. For comments or inquiries, contact Kyle Smedley via email at KSmedley@Gannett.com or on Twitter @KyleSmedley_.
