Report: Strong skepticism regarding Haliburton’s return in East Finals

Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton sustained a left hamstring injury during Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics. As a result, he has been officially ruled out of Game 3, and there are concerns that he may not return for the remainder of the series. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Pacers are prioritizing caution when it comes to Haliburton’s injury, indicating that his absence may extend beyond Game 3.

Despite being down 2-0 in the series, the Pacers are expected to take a conservative approach with Haliburton’s recovery. This decision is influenced by a previous experience with player OG Anunoby, who rushed his return from injury only to have limited effectiveness in Game 7 against the Pacers.
