Inderes Shakes Up Model Portfolio by Dropping Capman and Adding Liquid

Inderes, a well-known equity research firm, has recently made changes to its model portfolio by removing asset manager Capman and adding Liquid. The decision was made after analysts determined that Neste’s challenges are manageable and short-term in nature. Capman had been in the model portfolio since 2013 with a weight of four percent, but its valuation is now relatively neutral, prompting funds to be allocated elsewhere.

Despite a subsequent 20 percent fall in its share price, Neste was added to the model portfolio in February due to the potential for growth and dividend yield. Analysts have justified the increase in Neste’s weight by projecting its future growth and considering its attractive dividend yield. With the sale of Capman, Inderes’ model portfolio cash weight increased to 13 percent, which is considered low historically. The analysts see opportunities for good stock picking in the future and are prepared to reduce the cash weight further as they arise.

For transparency purposes, Inderes reports on its model portfolio team and their trades, with several team members purchasing Neste shares recently. Capman’s stock has two analyst recommendations, while Neste’s shares receive positive recommendations from analysts, including Inderes itself. The analysts believe in Neste’s growth potential and expect it to be reflected in its share price. Neste’s average target price is 33.33 euros, with various analysts providing different estimates.

In conclusion, Inderes has made changes to its model portfolio by removing asset manager Capman and adding Liquid based on analysis that determined that Neste’s challenges were manageable and short-term in nature. The company expects good growth potential for Neste based on projected growth and attractive dividend yield. While some investors may be concerned about recent interest rate rises impacting business more than expected, Inderes believes that there are opportunities for good stock picking in the future on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
